Ingredients

 

 

For Pastry:

 

1 cup water

 

1/2 cup butter, unsalted

 

1 cup all-purpose flour

 

1/4 teaspoon salt

 

4 large eggs

 

For Filling:

 

2 cups heavy cream, cold

 

1/2 cup powdered sugar

 

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

 

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

 

Add water, salt, butter to medium pan and bring to boil.

 

Step 2

Turn heat to low and add flour all at once, stir for 1 minute until combined.

 

Remove from heat. Cool.

Step 3

Add eggs one at a time and beat very well between each addition.

Step 4

Using medium cookie scoop place cream puff dough onto ungreased baking sheet.

 

Bake 25 - 30 minutes. Cool.

Step 5

In medium size bowl combine cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla.

 

On medium-high speed whip all ingredients until it’s soft and smooth.

Step 5

Place chilled cream in using piping gun (or bag) with a small plain round tip.

 

Insert tip into pastry side, pipe to fill with cream.

 

Sprinkle top with powdered sugar and serve.
