1 pound chicken breast
8 ounces penne pasta, dried
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup basil pesto (homemade)
1 cup heavy cream
In a medium saucepan cook pasta according to package directions. Set aside.
Cut chicken into small pieces. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning.
Preheat a large skillet over medium heat, add oil and cook chicken until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
